Featured Fiction
One of the interesting things about fiction is that no matter how far out it might seem while you are reading it, there is still a tiny thread that ties it back to the familiar. It's difficult to find a common thread that ties all of the stories in this issue together. They all brave the unreal in their own special way. One story tests the limits a young pirate must push beyond to save and protect a loved one, while another story finds a man reflecting on a strange birthday adventure at IHOP with history's most notorious dictators. A woman finds herself walking down the streets of her past in search of a lost love, only to find... well, if I told you, you'd never believe me, so I suggest you read it and find out for yourself. Finally, we follow friends on a trip down memory lane to a past which no longer suits or serves the people who lived it.
